Europe’s economy is largely dependent on fossil resources for energy, chemistry and everyday products. These resources are scarce. Biomass from agriculture, forestry and marine resources offers a way out of our dependency on fossil resources. A transition from the fossil-based economy to a new bio-economy promises to make Europe more sustainable, boost growth and create jobs.
The EU Horizon 2020 Bioeconomy Awareness and Discourse Project “BioCannDo” aims to increase awareness of bio-based products and facilitate access to trustworthy resources through our website AllThings.Bio. Engaging in hands-on stakeholder dialogues, consumer focus groups and value chain workshops, Prospex facilitates a valuable co-creation process on regional product examples in three case studies across Europe.
