As a result of the 2013 – 2018 Strategy, the European Respiratory Society (ERS) has undergone substantial changes, as it evolved into a global organisation with an ever-expanding membership. In light of these transformations, the ERS wanted to hear from its stakeholders how they have experienced the impact of these strategy decisions.
The ERS therefore called on Prospex to gather crucial and insightful stakeholder feedback on the organisation and its positioning in global medicine and healthcare.
Together with the ERS leadership, Prospex designed and conducted in-depth interviews with established stakeholders, who represent key constituencies for the ERS and its governance. The survey delivered personal and well-grounded suggestions and recommendations for the ERS, and how it should respond to the emerging trends that are shaping the future of medicine and healthcare.
These recommendations serve as a first step toward developing the ERS’ post-2018 Strategy, and toward improving the organisation’s work overall.
On the 14th of June, Prospex presented the findings of the stakeholder consultations at the ERS Presidential Conference in Lisbon, Portugal. Prospex also designed and moderated the conference’s plenary sessions, where the ERS leadership closely examined the survey outcomes, shared their views and impressions, and engaged with participating stakeholders.
